The backplate is marginally thicker which means that the cover goes on and stays on. Choice of colour was a big plus for me as I can give as gifts to friends or family. Cons: The Apple logo on the back would be much better if it was an option. I quite like the plain and simple look of the silver case. Overall: Some cases mould better around the buttons and camera but not really a big deal.
